These kids were found running loose in West Dallas. The owner was identified and he immediately surrendered - being the responsible person he is.
The Good Samaritan adopted them out of Dallas Animal Services and is currently paying kenneling fees. She is eager to get them out of there. She lives in an apartment and the management will not allow more dogs. anything you can do for these lovelies will be greatly appreciated. They are good souls.
Rocky & Romeo
Two fur-brothers under the care of a neglectful human managed to stay together when they got out of their yard in late April. Both boys are in the 50 lb range and about 1.5-2 years of age.
Their rescuer has been exceedingly kind and they have responded with love and eagerness to be better trained dogs. They are learning to walk on a harness, still pull a little but enjoy a long walk. At home they want the harness off and prefer to wear only their nakey fur :) Rocky smiles when he watches children on bicycles while Romeo loves tennis balls. Both dogs love children, men and women and are comfortable around cats.
They lovvvvve sleeping on a bed, have had the companionship of a 15 year old boy and Rocky has a funny habit of talking in his sleep :)
They both enjoy kisses, cuddling and being brushed. Rocky loves a bath but Romeo, unlike most Labs this kid doesn't. Deep inside he's like a 5 year old boy at heart.!
Rocky, A German Shepherd mix is very intelligent, listens attentively and has quickly learned basic commands like sit, stay, come. He loves being with his brother Romeo and cries when they are not together.
Romeo equally enjoys being around people of all sizes and also enjoys being in his crate. His intelligence leans towards perceiving how he can relax people, assure them and he even does this to Rocky.
This handsome and healthy pair is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped. Their rescuer is most willing to participate with any rescue group that will take these two lovely boys. They are desperate for a backyard to run around
