Pepe's Story...
Please allow me to introduce myself: I’m Pepe– and I am (according to my Mom) an adorable and very talented labrador boxer mix of 2 year old She says I’m mellow yet playful, love getting belly rubs .Dad says to tell you that I am a champion cuddler who loves to snuggle up next to everyone - especially Mom. I’m the first one at the door to greet her when she arrives. I do, however, love to greet anyone that comes to visit. (I tell him that’s what you do when you’re a greeter! In fact, you can think of me as a one- dog Welcome Wagon!)I like to play ‘tug of war’ especially when Mom plays with me. In fact, I am teaching her how to play. (She learns fast!) I’m MUCH more about people then dogs I like to go on walks and I love to go on rides! I’m a perfect gentleman in the car. I enjoy looking out the window or curling up on the seat for a short snooze. At night I put myself to bed in my crate and sleep quietly all night long (but I’d sure love to sleep in the Big People’s bed. What could be better than that?)Please fill up an adoption application for me I am a fabulous boy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepe, a Carlsbad Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Carlsbad, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Carlsbad.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlsbad already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlsbad breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlsbad paves the way for another one to be saved.
