Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Drake is a young, active hound who would benefit from an active family. He would do best with another female greyhound in the home who is laid back, but confident. Drake has been given the unfortunate diagnosis of retinal degeneration, which means he is slowly losing his eyesight. There is no cure or treatment for retinal degeneration, but with patience, Drake will continue to be happy and confident. This is why he should go to a home with another greyhound. Drake will need a confident owner to help him with the transition. Drake would also benefit from dog training classes. He already is very smart and trained to sit, lay down, and wait.
Drake also loves to play, especially with tennis balls! His record is 30 minutes until the tennis ball is destroyed! He loves to romp in the yard and run with his greyhound friends. He is also a big mush! Weighing in at close to 75lbs, he would want nothing more than being a lap dog or to snuggle his big head into your arms.
