Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wesker is a beautiful 2.5 year old, male Border Collie with a dynamic personality. His original owner, a soldier at Ft. Gordon in Georgia, had to give him up due to deployment. Up until his recent foster family, he had little experience around other dogs. Wesker is a high energy dog who loves to run and play. He also loves to swim and play in the water. He is good with children and is friendly with everybody. Although he gets along with most non-aggressive dogs, it would be best to avoid another dominant male dog in the household. It is unknown how he behaves around cats.
Wesker is very smart. He learned to use a doggie door in minutes. He knows some basic commands, such as sit, down, and come. Because he gets excited when greeting people, he may jump up to say hello, but he is working on correcting that behavior. He walks well on a leash and would be a great jogging companion. He is house-broken and crate trained.
A fenced yard where he can play safely is required. No electric fences, please. He will do best with at least one other K-9 companion to play with and an active family.
