Hayden's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Hayden's Story...
Hayden came from a shelter that was beyond full that does not have much help from rescues or many adoptions. When we saw him in a pen with other dogs we knew we had to take him. This fellow is such a character and so much fun. He is so happy go lucky and everyone who meets him loves him. He loves to play with toys and throw them around. He is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, heart worm negative, dewormed, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. He would be great for a family or single person. He is about a year old and 30lbs. Almost house trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hayden, a Haggerstown Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Haggerstown, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Haggerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haggerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haggerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haggerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
