Whoever said opposites attract must have had small Susie and large Tyco in mind. A moment spent with this seemingly mismatched pair and you’ll learn what doggy love and devotion is all about. Having arrived at the same foster home from separate but similar unhappy pasts, they had much in common, much to share, and much to learn. Sweet Susie and tender Tyco both enjoy playing – especially with each other – and once shier Susie feels safe with you, she melts like doggy butter in your hands, so grateful is she for your gentleness and affection. With Tyco as her patient guide, she’s been slowly emerging from her protective shell, and together, paw in paw, they are both continuing to bloom. Now as they search for a fur-ever home to share, they will do best in a calm, female-only one, without children or cats, and with a fenced yard in which to play. But most importantly: an adopter with the patience and perseverance to coax oh-so-eager Susie all the way out of her shell and into the sunshine of a love that will last.
Note: Their reduced adoption fee is only $14 for a home that will keep them together. It covers spay/neuter, microchip, DAPP, rabies and heartworm test.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care, enabling us to save more lives!
