Facts about Hoppy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Hoppy is a very sweet and loving boy. He loves affection and to be pet. He is approximately 2 yrs old, neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. He has tested POSITIVE for FIV and will require special living arrangements. This means possibly being the only house cat or living with another positive cat. Hoppy also has a deformed paw/leg due to either a birth deformity or an injury that healed badly. However it does appear to bother him, be painful, or keep him down or inhibit him from being a happy boy. He is good with dogs.

Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by our adoption team. We will then contact your personal and veterinary references. Once those steps are completed and approved, we will setup an initial meeting and home visit, which may sometimes happen at the same time. The adoption team will get back to you once all steps are completed to setup the final adoption, including payment of adoption fee and execution of the adoption contract.

Our adoption contract does include a 14 day trial period where the pet can be returned to the rescue and half of the adoption fee is refunded. We want to make sure that it is a great fit for your family and also for the pet!

Adoption Fees:

Cats: $75 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip with lifetime enrollment and FIV/FeLV test

About Louis' Legacy Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a start-up pet rescue located in Farmington Hills, MI and the surrounding areas. We are currently in process of obtaining our 501c3 non-profit status. Through the kindness of our volunteers, our mission is to help alleviate the homeless and unwanted pet issue within our community by rescuing and rehabilitating animals. We provide education for the public and ultimately leading by example with respect, integrity and compassion. We are a no-kill shelter for adoptable pets. Each animal in our care is evaluated and trained by professionals.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process starts by having the applicant fill out our adoption application, which includes some basic questions as well as both veterinary and personal references. Once the application has been reviewed and approved, we will contact the applicant to setup a home visit with the pet they are interested in. If the home visit and meeting both go well, the adoption contract and adoption fee will be executed.
