My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! My name is Peanut. I'm a 5 year old, 6 pound Chihuahua. My life before coming to BlueMoon was not a good one. I was on the street after being tossed out like trash. I guess I can't blame them for tossing me out because I looked like a little monster and was probably scaring the kids. You see, I had this tumor on my head and they did nothing to help fix it. You can see in my second picture how I looked then.

Pretty gross, huh? The person that found me tried to find me a home but no one wanted a disfigured, tumor head girl. She decided that I should go to a sanctuary and live out the rest of my life there until the tumor took me to Rainbow Bridge. Lucky for me that didn't happen. BlueMoon took me in, had the tumor removed, and just look how beautiful I am now!!!

It might seem like I'm bragging but a nicer Chihuahua you will never find. I am, without a doubt, the sweetest, most social little girl ever. The doctors and staff at Mendon Village Animal Hospital will attest to that! I was the hit of the hospital when I was there for surgery...everyone loved me.

Well, enough about me. I really need to thank my loving foster parents Bonnie and Gary for taking me in and the entire crew from Mendon Village Animal Hospital for their expert care and kindness.
