Tony's Story...
This pup is not in NY yet. We can deliver to our NY location once adopted. Please see our web site www.albany.saveamuttkennel.info for more information

There is nothing wrong with Tony because we have reduced his adoption fee. We want to get some attention for this VERY DESERVING and sweet dog. We have so many dogs that ARE STUCK HERE FOREVER that is not fair to move the ones that can be rehomed. EVEN IF IT MEANS LOSING the adoption fee. We love our dogs, we want the best for them

D/O/B 7-1-14. This pup was pulled along with his siblings from a high kill shelter in NC. We were told the pup was a mixture of golden retriever and shep. This pup is extremely friendly and affectionate. He should mature around 65 pounds give or take. He is great with ALL PEOPLE, dogs and even cats.

This pup is current on shots, deworming and will be microchipped and current on flea prevention. This pup will go with access to low cost pet health insurance with the 1st month being free.

We do require a pre screen application to apply. You can get that on our main web site at www.albany.saveamuttkennel.info . Please read the FAQ page it will save you and I a lot of time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tony, a Albany Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Albany, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
