BOBBY JO's Story...
Meet Bobby Jo! This beautiful girl is chocolate from head to toe, ever her pretty eyes are the color of mocha. She is simply an absolute delight to be around. This poor girl had been left to wander with her sisters in rural Missouri, and was close to starving to death when she was picked up by Animal Control (see their pic when rescued). She then spent over a YEAR in a shelter, where they nursed her body back to health. She is now waiting for her forever home to complete her journey and give her spirit the peace it deserves.

Bobby Jo has the sweetest personality and she cherishes every ounce of attention she gets. She follows her foster mom everywhere and gives sweet kisses to anyone who wants them. She is wonderful in the house and has not had one accident! She does fantastic with kids of all ages, and is especially sweet to her foster toddler and baby. Bobby Jo does great with other dogs, but she needs to go to a home with no cats (she chases when no one is looking, but is obedient when her people are around). True to her Lab nature, she LOVES the water! Check her out in her swimming pool video: https://youtu.be/itIZ91yrCg4

Bobby Jo is a very intelligent dog and has been picking things up very quickly. She is fantastic on a leash and would be a perfect walking partner. She is crate trained, and her foster family has yet to hear her bark. A sweet and gentle dog who will make some lucky person/family a dear and loyal companion.

Bobby Jo is just under 2 yrs old & weighs 61 lbs (she's a bit of a sausage!). She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative & dewormed. She has completed heartworm treatment and will need to remain on monthly heartworm prevention for the rest of her life, as all dogs should & is recommend by veterinarians. Adoption fee is $250. Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOBBY JO, a Lincoln Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
