Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lulu came into rescue 3 years ago, when she was a cute 6 months old puppy. She was adopted out to a military family in Georgetown. Many rescue organizations do not adopt to military families, and I know why, but I did not to be prejudice. 3 years later, Lulu ended up at the Lockhart shelter. After calling the adopter we have on record, I learned that they gave her away to another military person when they had to relocate 2 years ago. Obviously the home she was sent to, was not a good home and he gave her away again. Eventually Lulu ended up homeless on the streets of Lockhart. Luckily she was microchipped, so when animal control took her to the shelter, they knew to contact us.
Lulu is back up for adoption. This time we want to make sure that Lulu goes to a good home with a family that will take care of her and keep her for the rest of her life. She is a great dog, sweet and loving. Because what she's been through, she is very clingy. She wants to stay close all the time. Will be best to have her with someone who is home a lot and when she left alone, she will probably need to be crated, until she learns that she is safe and you will be back for her.
If you'd like to give Lulu a new loving forever home, please fill out the adoption application on our website.
