Hola, me llamo Salvador! (Memorized that just for my bio - with a name like Salvador, I figured I should be able to meow just a bit in Spanish.) I'm really excited to introduce myself to you! I'm a male cat with black fur - not too short, not too long, it's right in between at medium length and pretty soft to touch too.
When I first got to Feline Rescue, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the cats and people, but now I am one of the gang. Turns out this is a pretty good place for a cat to find a good home and a family, and I'm holding out for just the right one. Maybe this is our lucky day and the right one is you!
Let me tell you about myself. I'm a playful kitty and loving too. I can't say I'm overly talkative, but I'm pretty good at letting people know what I'm thinking anyways. Like if you are scratching my chin but I want my head rubbed, I'll just wiggle my head down till you are right where I want you. Don't worry, it's no trouble at all. I'm happy to help a human buddy out! My daily hobbies include rubbing against human legs and finding the perfect sun spots for a nap. The floor is all well and good, but the best spots are the ones with a view. You have to climb a bit, but it is so worth it! I'm hoping for a family I can love and play with when I'm awake and snuggle up against when I'm tired. Do you think you might be interested? Come meet me at the Adoption Center and let's see if we were meant for each other! I'm available for $120 - hope to see you soon!
If you'd like to know more about me, just stop in at the Adoption Center to meet me or leave a message for my human assistant at 651-642-5900 ext. 3. She'll call you back.

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
