Watch Lizzy's video! Lizzy is a young loving cat. She was rescued by BAARC in April after she gave birth to kittens in the Martinez shelter. All of her babies have been adopted and now its time to find Lizzy a home! She has really blossomed into a wonderful cat since she has been rescued and we hope a family out there will give her the chance to live a normal cat life. Lizzy is mostly indoors but enjoys supervised outdoor time (she prefers when you are outside with her, but she comes back excitedly when you call her if she is out on her own). While she's pretty independent, she does enjoy her fair share of attention. She likes to be talked to, pet, and brushed. She wants to be in the room with you and enjoy your company. Her fosters report that she did not initially get along with their resident cats, but eventually befriended them.
All of our animals are spayed/neutered, micro chipped, up to date on their shots, and have a wellness check-up prior to them being adopted.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
