Meet Jax-Jax! I am an adorable 6 pound, 4-year old boy - and I will steal your heart! I am so sweet and SO soft! I am Yorkie terrier. My adoption fee is $675. A nice rescue, 6dogrees, saved me and my foster family is showing me lots of love. When you first meet me, I can be shy – but I quickly become a bubbly, happy boy. I think that dog toys are pretty cool. I love to run and play, and act silly. I like to snuggle and like to go on walks – I could be your walking friend. Another dog similiar in size and energy to play with would be ideaI! I like the other small dogs in the foster house, and I am learning about kitty-cats. I would make a great addition to a semi active family or adult home looking for a companion. Positive based, obedience class is highly suggested, as it will help me with bonding and mastering recall and basics commands.

I am learning quickly about potty training, and let my foster family know when I need to go outside. I am crate trained, and I am low-shedding – and need to be groomed every 8 weeks to make sure that I stay handsome. My foster family think I am a doll.

I will need a fully fenced yard, and I am hoping that I find a family that has a dog that I can be friends with or take me to doggy daycare. I know how to make people smile. As I am small, I prefer all adult home, to consider children they must be dog savvy, gentle, and respectful to animals - over 12 years of age. No off leash dog parks. I am a rescue dog and safety is priority.

My adoption fee is $675. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a donation receipt.

I am fostered North of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval.

Adoption fee include: Neuter or spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15-minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance.

6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we “Save it forward”; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs.

6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State.
