My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a story of our true miracle girl. One Saturday afternoon we got a call from Animal Control about a Boxer who was spotted by several people in a corn field. She appeared to be in very bad shape, possibly severely injured "If we catch her can you please take her?" Of course we can. Turns out she was easy to catch. A dog who should have weighed about 60 pounds, weighed 28 pounds. She was starving and desperate for help. It appeared that she had recently had babies and she had what we call a prolapsed uterus. That means her female parts were literally hanging out of her. I had called our vet before she even arrived, knowing she would need emergency surgery immediately. The vet made no promises. He had to repair the damage and also spay her that evening. In her very weakened condition he was not optimistic about her making it through the surgery. I went home and prayed. For three long hours I paced the floors waiting for the phone call. When it came, it was the best news of all. She made it and was awake and recovering nicely, resting comfortably. We were still a long way from full recovery. She now weighs 63 pounds, is healthy as can be and one of the sweetest, most lovable dogs I have ever had the pleasure of having! She is now ready for adoption and I can promise you that this precious girl will make you very happy. She is truly a joy and our miracle of all miracles! I have posted before and after pics so that you can see the amazing transformation for yourself. Gypsy is young, 18-24 months we believe. She is house broken and crate trained. Micro-chipped and current on all of her shots. I am looking for a very special person to adopt this very special girl! ADOPTION FEE $600
