Hello there. I’m Winston, a 3 year old, 65 pound boy. I am sweet but feeling a little out of sorts since coming to AGB. There has been so much transition and it’s scary for me. I would probably do best in a home without kids or other pets as AGB thinks I might need to be “an only child”. I’m loving but it may take me a little while to warm up to you. I just need to feel safe and know you are friendly. I like to have my fur stroked and to be talked to in a soothing voice. Sometimes if you stop petting me too soon, I will lean on you to let you know not to stop please. Once I feel comfortable with you, I like to walk and play. I need to be with someone who will take the time with me to build my confidence and bring me out of my shell. AGB has treated me for some hookworms and a lick granuloma on my paw, but other than that, I am healthy. I’m allergic to fleas, so I need to always be on a good flea medicine. If you are looking for a sweet, loving young boy to be part of your family and you have the time and patience to help me conquer my fears, I just know we can be best friends forever.
