Hi everyone. My name is Kit. I’m a 1 year old, 42 pound boy with big bright eyes. About 6 months ago a kind lady found me abandoned and alone in a field. I was scared, sick, skinny and hungry. I thought maybe she would hurt me like the other people had, but she was different. She took me home to her family and, though they rescue a lot of dogs, they knew they couldn’t keep me forever. They wanted to give me a chance at a good life. I had mange but I got the medicine I needed to slowly but surely get well. They also got me vaccinated and neutered. After a while they knew I was strong enough to move on but wanted to make sure I went to a really good family so they contacted AGB and a volunteer came and got me. I’m crate trained and I know Sit, Come and Down. I’m submissive to large dogs and playful with small ones. I have chased a few cats. Because of all I have been through I am a little bit timid and nervous around strangers. Once I get to know you I’m friendly and playful. I love toys and to sit with people and be petted or brushed.
