Max *Trained's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Max *Trained's Story...
Max was surrendered because they could no longer keep him. He and his friend Mocha came from an island named Vieques which belongs to Porto Rico. There are many dogs on the streets there and these two were rescued and being fostered. The family moved here and their shelter wouldn't take them back. Max is described as friendly and playful around children. He walks around the car at first and then settles in for sleep on car rides. "Max is sweet, kind, loyal, confident, and bold" said his foster parent. He loves rope toys and tennis balls. He is used to sleeping on the couch, dog bed, or in the human bed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max *Trained, a Newland Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Newland, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Newland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newland paves the way for another one to be saved.
