Lucky's Story...
My name is Lucky and I am one of Goldies Puppies. I am a Lab Pointer Mix. I will be 5 months old around the end of June 2016. I am altered, micro chipped, fully vetted, and ready to find my forever family. I do well with dogs and cats and kids. Currently I am learning to master my crate and house training skills. My foster Mom says I am smart and sweet. I should grow to be approximately 65-70 pounds. If you are interested in learning more about me, Lucky, please fill out an application today and mention me, Lucky!

On St. Patricks Day we received a call stating 7 puppies approximately 7 weeks old had been dumped on the side of a rural road overnight. Momma had also been dumped over half a mile away from puppies. She was able to locate them and a good Samaritan brought them to her yard until we were able to pick them up. Momma's name is Goldie and all pups were named after the Irish as they had luck on their side that day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Gillsville Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Gillsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Gillsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gillsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gillsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gillsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
