Luna's Story...
To say that Luna loves people is an understatement! She is the happiest girl and is wonderful with meeting everyone! Luna is a 2 year old girl, who is already spayed. She is a medium sized lady, probably around 30 pounds or so, who hardly comes past knee-height. Luna has done well with the cats at the shelter and we are still seeing how she does around other dogs. Luna's happy, sweet, playful personality is contagious - she brings smiles everywhere she goes. She has quite a bit of energy and prefers to be running and playing! She is a smart girl and knows how to sit politely! Luna is food motivated and likes to cuddle in soft, fluffy blankets. If you are looking for a dog to always brighten your day, Luna is your girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Michigan City Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu breeders who help with Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
