My name is Logan. I have NOT had it easy... I started out with St. Francis when I was just a couple months old. I have to admit - I was scared - but being inside was just what I really needed. I found myself with a nice foster mom to look after me, toys to play with, a warm bed to sleep in, and a roof over my head (so no more long days and nights in the Florida rain!). I was adopted and I thought I had found my forever home, but unfortunately I was wrong. The house where I lived had children and other animals. I didn't get the attention I deserved and the children didn't make things easy on me. I started hiding and no one seemed to care or notice. I started to get scared again. They kept me for a year before returning me to St. Francis because "it wasn't working out". I was so devastated that I didn't eat at first and I was hiding again. It took a few weeks and a lot of patience but I am finally learning to come out of my shell again and trust. I really am a sweet, shy boy who is still just a kitten at just over a year old. I love to lay in the sun in front of the window for hours. I play with my toys and walk around with my stuffed mouse in my mouth. I am back to eating like a champ and never have a problem with my litter box. I even know that I am only supposed to scratch on my own toys! I really need a SPECIAL home. I will do best in a calm, quiet environment. I would love it if my forever family was home a lot to pay attention to me. Most importantly, I need my TRUE forever family to know I just need some time to adjust because I have been through ALOT in first year of life. Once I get to know you all I want to do is curl up in a ball and purr the day away to cuddles! I like to trade nose bumps for kisses! I even drool a tiny bit from time to time when I first get my purr motor running! I guess its just because I have been saving so much love to give. My foster mommy promises that this time its for keeps and she will find me the perfect family. Is it you?

About St. Francis Society Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

St. Francis Society Animal Rescue is an all volunteer, non-profit 501-c-3 animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of sick, injured, and stray domestic animals as well as spay/neuter and medical services for those animals. We seek to place animals in a loving foster or permanent home after recovery and we DO NOT euthanize unless terminal illness necessitates such a decision. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, tested for leukemia/FIV (cats), wormed and vaccinated before they are adopted.
