Brady's Story...
Brady is a gorgeous 6 month old German Shepherd puppy (mom was pure bred) that we rescued after his leg was broken.
He has spent the last 6 weeks at the vet recovering and having his leg heal. He is now almost completely healed and is looking for a forever family or a foster in Austin.
He ADORES people and is friendly with dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. He looks like the kind of hound you would see in front of the hearth next to an Irish chieftain. A heroic look to him. But does not show on pictures. He is amazing to see. Long muzzle with gorgeous white puppy teeth. Expressive sparkling eyes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brady, a Austin German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Austin, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
