CRICKETT's Story...
Crickett is a year old Aussie mix. He is a big LOVE BUG! He absolutely adores people! Crickett is good with dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to be by your side and follow you wherever you go. He will need work on potty training. Crickett will need to be kept indoors most of the time. His eyes are light sensitive (which I did notice he seems to be bothered by bright sun) and he is prone to getting sunburned easily because of the skin pigment around his nose and eyes. Crickett is also deaf and will need a family that is familiar with special need dogs. If you would like to meet him please call 972-382-3647 or email

If the dog has not been fixed yet, they will be kept till they are fixed. This is usually with in a week or less.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CRICKETT, a Pilot Point Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Pilot Point, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Pilot Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pilot Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pilot Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pilot Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
