JT's Story...
Meet the adorable JT! JT is a super cute, 6 month old, tuxedo guy who is looking for his forever home. JT wandered into his local State Rep's office looking to volunteer and make a difference in the community - his platform is free catnip for all cats. He decided it was just his kind of place and promptly made himself at home on the Rep's desk which is where he still was when our volunteer went to pick him up. JT is quite the little character and is very friendly, outgoing, and playful. He is not thrilled with dogs so would do best in a home without canine pals. This funny kitten will make a great companion and best friend - adopt JT!

Meet JT at PetValu NE Philly today! He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready to be yours!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JT, a Cheltenham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cheltenham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cheltenham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cheltenham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cheltenham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cheltenham paves the way for another one to be saved.
