My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Est. DOB: July 2010

She was a very young puppy wandering around a neighborhood, lost and helpless. A kind person took her in and cared for her. But life took a bad turn for her again when the person could no longer keep her. Great luck was with the pup because somehow she found her way to Paw Huggers Rescue and we were able to welcome her into our program.

Her name is Rosabella, which means Beautiful Rose in Italian. A pretty name for a pretty girl! Her demodex is all healed and her hair, a rich red with pretty white markings, has grown back in as much as possible. After extensive testing it has been determined by a Veterinarian that Rosabella will never grow all of her hair back. Due to the chronic skin issues she had for such an extended period of time the hair follicles were damaged. But Rosabella is a beautiful pup, guaranteed! Just look at her sweet face. She has a soft gaze in her large chocolate brown eyes and she has a cute black nose. Her ears are large and soft and frame her pretty face.

Rosabella is very friendly to people and is eager to be loved on. She wiggles her whole body in delight. She walks very well on a leash and enjoys her outings very much. As of right now she is not good with cats.

She can be a very playful girl but is also alert when it comes to letting you know someone is at the house. She is her foster's second alarm, but does not just bark for no reason. She loves running in the yard playing with her rope and ball. She cannot swim, so cannot be left unattended near water.

If you are interested in adopting Rosabella and think she will be a good match for your family please contact pawhuggers@gmail.com. We will be happy to make arrangements for your visit and Rosabella will be so happy to see you. Woof!
