Jersey's Info...

Jersey's Story...
The gorgeous Jersey is an approximately 2-3 year old spayed brown tabby who would love a family of her own. Jersey greets her foster family at the door and will happily rub against their legs, but she doesn't smother for attention. Jersey will find her own things to do but welcomes interaction and affection. Jersey does okay with other felines but would prefer to be an only cat. She's particularly fond of catnip toys and will bap those around on the floor for hours. Jersey tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. She's up-to-date on her rabies and distemper vaccinations and uses the litterbox faithfully. Jersey is a bit obsessed with food and has been known to steal things off the counter, even running away with a whole bag of bread once. Because she's very food oriented, food can be used to win her heart. We'd recommend not free feeding Jersey as her belly will rapidly expand. Jersey willingly allows children to hold her but will avoid hanging out with high-energy, unpredictable activity. Jersey is available for adoption for $50.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jersey, a New Prague Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New Prague, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in New Prague.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Prague already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Prague breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Prague paves the way for another one to be saved.
