This handsome tuxedo fellow is Joy, rescued from a backyard in Midwood. It was there that his kindly caretakers discovered he was not feral and shouldn’t be outdoors—so they took him inside in order to find him what he needed: a forever home.
Once indoors, Joy revealed he is a lap cat committed to the lap lifestyle. He loves to lie on his fosters’ legs, enjoy a long petting session, and purr, purr, purr. While he might be a wee bit shy with strangers, once Joy gets to know you and trust you, he becomes a total mush. He also loves to play and adores other cats, so we’d be so thrilled if his new home offered the companionship of another, feline friend!
Joy is approximately 2 years old, neutered, felv/FIV negative, and up-to-date on vaccines. If you’d like to schedule a playdate with him, contact Tara Green at firstname.lastname@example.org!
