Apache's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Update from his foster : Apache is a really sweet dog.  Wants someone to loooove him.  Does want to be with you all the time but he can be crated or left alone in the home with no worries. 'Patch' would be great with another easy going dog and will be fine with a dog savvy cat.

Apache loves EVERYbody but barks initially when someone approaches the yard, home or car. He LOVES car rides and walks, and loves carrying around soft toys and squeaky balls.

Apache is a bouncy 7 years young.  He is best described as a giant 90+ lb doofus who just wants to love on everyone Meet APACHE!! This super sweet fellow's person was heartbroken to have to give him up, but a long term hospital stay forced him to surrender him to a shelter.  Cats are unknown. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apache, a Baltimore German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
