My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max #2 is a handsome 1 1/2 yr Chug (Chihuahua/Pug mix); he is current on his vaccinations and has been neutered and has been micro-chipped. Max is gentle, affectionate and is playful. This cutie is a very sweet snuggly boy who sleeps in bed with foster mom. He has learned to trust her but took time for that to develop as he is learning to trust humans. He will not be the dog that will jump into your lap and shower you with kisses, but a patient person who is willing to give him time to learn to trust them will be rewarded with a devoted and loyal companion. He is pretty much potty trained if you take him out regularly he will pee outside. If he has access to potty pads inside, then he will use those as well. He is afraid of men, so a male in his life would need to be extra patient. Max would not be a good fit for a home with young children, teens would be okay. Foster mom only works part time and feels he would do best in a home where he isn't left more than 4-5 hours at a time on a regular basis, as he loves human contact with his person. He gets along with other dogs and is good with cats. He is not a barker. He rides well in the car and is leash trained. Max loves to be a lap dog. He will be a wonderful companion.
