My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Byron was picked up as a stray from a NW Florida Shelter. Nobody came to claim him and it is really baffling why because he is such a good boy who could have possibly given him up. He is loving, playful and sweet as can be. He rolls over for belly rubs when you pass by him. He loves being around people and greets strangers with his little wagging nubby tail. He had terrible skin dermatitis on his neck when he first came into rescue but that is pretty much all healed and his fur is growing back nicely now. He also had an eye infection in his right eye but that too has been taken care of. Byron is about 5-6 years old, neutered, up to date on his shots, Heartworm negative, on preventative and he is microchipped. He is crate and house trained, walks well on lead, knows a few basic commands and is a joy to have around. Kids 10 and older and he will do well with well behaved female dogs with a slow and proper introduction. Byron needs someone who knows the breed and knows about their upkeep so past English Bulldog experience is a must, if you have not had an english bulldog you will not be considered for adoption, so please do not submit an application if you have no past EBD experience.
