My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there. My name is Sybil... Or at least that's what they call me here. I'm around 3-4 years old and I weigh about 8-10 lbs.
I was picked up by the pound in Lisbon, after running the area for a couple of days.
I hung around one house in particular. I would hide in the bushes then run out and scare people as they were walking by.
In case my name didn't throw you any hints, I am not the most outgoing or friendliest little dog you'll ever meet. In fact, I was a bit "cray cray" at first. I am coming around more and more every day. The workers here at the pound think I am terrified and just feel the need to defend myself as opposed to it being full on aggression. I don't appear to be a mean dog at all, just a very scared dog trying to protect myself. I mostly just lay around and hide on a bed curled up on a blanket. If I am laying on the floor, I don't move a muscle if someone walks by.
I don't know any of these people here yet. I don't want them to pick me up, but it is comforting when they pet me. It reminds me of when I had people who loved me, a family who cared.
The pound workers say they think I will adjust to a new family with some time and patience.
The pound will not place me in a home with small children.
If you have time and patience and you think I would be a good fit with you, please consider adopting me.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JUNE 10, 2016.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $120 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING, MICROCHIP AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
