Dobby's Story...
She's a sweet loving girl. As an adopter you MUST love cuddling her. She knows a couple tricks already like sit, lay down and touch (where she touches your hand with her nose. She loves other dogs and seems to be the most submissive of the 3 in my home. Some introductions should be made slow if the other dog is rambunctious and in your face. She learned that cats are fun to chase and play with but you have to remind her that cats don't belong in her mouth. She is almost completely potty trained, we are just working on her telling us when she needs to go. If dhe could she would sleep in bed with me and is always by my side. She is calm most of the time but does play. She will play with some and she is starting to bring the toy back if you throw it. When adopted she has a carrot squeeky toy that will be going with her, she carries it around the house most days. We are in love with this little girl and would love to see her go to a good home that loves her just as much.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dobby, a Newport Labrador Retriever/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Newport, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky puppy from a breeder in Newport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport paves the way for another one to be saved.
