Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What is black and white and love all over? Why that would be Jeni.
That's right and we can add sweet, smart and a cuddle bug to that list too.
This little lady came all the way from the Michigan-Ohio border to be with us. Found as a stray and placed in a shelter waiting for her family to come and take her home.
But no one came for her.
We are glad she is safe with us now. With lots of love and playmates to keep her happy.
This little lady had a very busy first day. A long trip home in the car and not one peep out of her. She sat in the back just looking out the window and enjoying the ride home. Her first stop was a meet-n-greet with 2 black labs and all went just fine. A warm bubble bath to get some of that traveling dust off and make her feel so much better. Next stop was the vet's office. She was an angel there too. Her final stop was her foster home where she met a chocolate lab and a basset hound that have a huge backyard to run and play in...heaven on earth.
One morning, Jeni couldn't make up her mind if she wanted to chase a bird or a butterfly and a game of fetch is at the top of the game list for her. But after a busy day in the yard, Ms Jeni turns into a snuggle bug.
Jeni is learning lots of new things with her new foster family like walking properly on a leash, housebreaking, basic commands, sit, stay, shake and down.
Jeni even had her first dip in the lake. Not a fan of the water yet, but she did like feeling cooled down and being safe and close to her foster mom.
Jeni is a social butterfly. She likes to meet and greet anyone on the other side of a fence, so a privacy fence or a wrought iron would help keep Jeni safe and in her own yard. She doesn't want to escape, she wants to be with you.
Jeni would love to have a brother or sister to play with because she plays so nice with other dogs.
Jeni is a Black Lab/Pointer mix, 10 mos. old, 44 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, housebroken, spayed and micro chipped.
