Howdy folks, Blue here. I am a 1 year old spayed female pit bull and the volunteers here are stunned nobody has won the dog lotto and taken me home yet! If you want to get a sense for my personality - pause right here and play the song Happy, by Pharrell Williams. No seriously, I'll wait...I'm pretty sure Pharrell wrote that song to describe me!
If you are looking for someone to play fetch with and buy squeaky balls for - I'm your girl. Those are two of my favorite things in life. I'm also a 'play group rock star' meaning whenever my good friends here at PHS have a dog they are not sure about, they enlist me to test the waters with them because I get along with most dogs, and the one's I don't like as much, I say so diplomatically. Before you go, check out my moves in my video - that's me mentoring one of the puppies here - which I've done a lot of cause I'm a great role model. Hope to see you soon - because I'm happy la la la, la, la la la...
To meet me ask for Blue, ID# A807029.
Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Our hours are weekdays from 11am-7pm and weekends from 11am-6pm (closed major holidays). Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close.
We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor or 650-340-7022 ext. 823 anytime to hear a recording of our available animals (updated each morning). Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
