Chettie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Chettie's Story...
With his soulful eyes and quiet curiosity, Chettie gives off a vibe that’s almost deer-like. Currently fostered with a volunteer, he is a sweet and gentle companion who loves his daily walks, but also enjoys lounging and calmly watching the squirrels in the garden. He is clean and well-mannered, rides nicely in the car, and even does great at the office with his foster mom. Chettie likes other dogs and would be a great candidate for a home with a well-matched dog friend. Chettie is around four years old and a compact 45 pounds. Contact us to meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chettie, a Berkeley Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
