Important Note

Tank Girl is best friends with Lana. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Estimated birthdate: 8/10/2015

Personality: Shy but warms up (does not like to be touched but will eventually allow, etc), Inquisitive, Mouthy (puts mouth on you but does not bite down, usually thinking your fingers are food)

Favorite treats: yogurt and bananas

Favorite toys and activities: Hanging out with my sister, Lana, and eating

Potty trained: Litter box trained

BFF: Yes, Lana.

Other species pet has been exposed to and reaction: Dogs, curious

Health concerns: Chronic URI

Behavioral concerns: Lana is in our Trust Training Program to work on her fear based aggression. Tank Girl has been a lot of progress and will now allow me to pick her up. She doesn't like it but is tolerant. She runs to get treats and we are working on recognizing food vs. fingers. She doesn't bite down hard, she is just a little mouthy and responds well if you "eek" when she does this.

Other notes: Tank has the potential to be a super awesome cuddly girl. She will still need someone to work with her on a regular basis which will help with her and her sister bond with you.

About MN Pocket Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Minnesota Pocket Pet Rescue is an organization committed to the rescue and adoption of small animals in the greater Twin Cities area. Our team is made up of enthusiastic and passionate volunteers who are ready to work hard to serve the underrepresented niche of small animals in the overall rescue community. Some of our small furry friends we specialize in helping include rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, chinchillas, degus, ferrets and sugar gliders. By working with the animal service community and reliable foster volunteers, MNPPR aspires to save countless "pocket pets" and place them in the loving forever homes they deserve. We are proud to serve as a support system and resource base to our community by providing information and helping to educate pet owners on the proper care of a variety of small animals.
