Calamity Jane, energetic pal!'s Story...
Meet one of the coolest little girls ever to come out of the south! One year old Calamity Jane has the most outgoing personality, is super adventuresome and active and so much fun to have around. She was rescued out of north Georgia last winter and stayed with foster mom Tracy until transport to Washington State. She was adopted right away, but they can no longer keep her so we are once again looking for her forever home. Calamity was rescued by our vet office who had to remove her eye due to an untreated infection. But don’t feel sorry for this awesome cutie, she gets along just fine with one! Calamity is a great playmate, loves all other dogs and anything to do with the outdoors. Older kids who can play with her will be best, as little ones she can knock over due to her 60lb. size. She is full of energy and love and can’t wait to get out of her boarding facility and into an active and loving family. Calamity is hoping her next family will want to do advanced training with her as she is still young and needs your help on perfecting her skills. She is the most adorable mix of bull terrier and maybe cattle dog? You will not find a sweeter and more affectionate companion than Miss Calamity. She knows her basic commands and is crate trained and house trained. She is good in the house and will be an awesome playmate for your resident dog. Calamity is a good size and energy level for long walks, daily runs or bike rides and loves the outdoors. She can’t wait for weekend hikes and doggie play time. She is ready and willing for you teach her more and accompany her back to training. She’s been doing at her boarding facility and would love for you to meet her trainers Darcy and Jim. Calamity is good on the leash and exhibits no food or toy aggression. Everyone dog and person she meets is her best buddy and she ignores the cats she sees in the neighborhood. Calamity is crate-trained. She is super smart, a very quick learner and shows no food or toy aggression. Calamity Jane would love an active family as she is enthusiastic, active and playful. She will bond with you quickly and be just the most loveable and amazing bully girl. She loves to travel and this active, outgoing and self-assured cutie has an eagerness to please and learn. Calamity is friendly and easy with strangers, and is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Miss “Personality plus” Calamity Jane would love it if you completed an online application and wanted to meet her right away. Any questions, email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com or go online to complete an application: www.raincityrescue.com (choose the adopt tab). Her adoption fee is $300. The smart and confident family who adopts this sweet, extremely playful and most affectionate doll baby will be the luckiest! She’s as fun and happy as they come and so deserving of an active and outgoing family…who needs and desires your time and attention. She is a real gem that will come to life with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calamity Jane, energetic pal!, a Snohomish Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler for sale in Snohomish, or seeking a Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Snohomish.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Snohomish already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Snohomish breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Snohomish paves the way for another one to be saved.
