Willow is a stunningly beautiful English bulldog puppy. Her mother was rescued from a puppy mill dog auction and was very pregnant. She delivered three (3) puppies. Willow weighs 19 lbs. Her DOB is 2/24/2016 which makes her 15 weeks old. She will be spayed prior to adoption but has been fully vaccinated including rabies, heartworm negative and is on heartworm preventive. She is the typical puppy that loves playing, running free outside and gets along great with all of her foster furfriends. She loves people, getting belly rubs, playing with toys and if you will let her sleeping in the bed with you. She is doing great with her crate and housetraining manners but her new family will need to let her outside first thing in the morning, several times during the day and right before bed time so she will continue to know that potty should be outside. Willow MUST have a home that has a fenced area for her so that she can run and play burning off some of her puppy energy and be ready for a nap. She has shown no aggression toward anyone. Like all of BTRA’s puppies, she will only be adopted to a family where someone is home during the day to continue her housetraining and socialization. Puppies do not thrive if left alone for long periods of time and it would not be fair to Willow. She has been fostered in a home with children and has done fine; however, they are used to dogs and know how to treat them. BTRA will require that a home with children must be used to having dogs and know how to respectfully treat them. Prior English bulldog experience is a plus and will be given priority. BTRA will do adoptions beyond our usual area of MS, AL, GA, TN and northwest FL. You must provide us the name and contact information for a reputable rescue in your area that is willing to do an on-site home visit for us. The adopting family and the dog must be a perfect fit. We do not ship or otherwise transport our dogs so you have to be willing to travel both ways in case the adoption does not work out. Our dogs cannot be flown if the airline requires them to be in cargo. If you are interested in caring for and loving this beautiful, sweet and fun loving puppy, please go to www.btralabama.org and complete an adoption application.
