My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Houston Rosie is a sweet and extroverted young girl pulled from a high kill shelter in Texas and is an approximate Dachshund mix of some kind, but we truly have no guesses beyond that, although she is thick bodied and may have a little extra hound in there somewhere ;) She's confident, well adjusted and gets along with everyone....other dogs, cats, kids. She's very uncomplicated and would do fine as a first dog, although she does have energy and vigor and could use some manners. She is a very affectionate girl who loves to interact and is marvelous company :) She is around six months old, the perfect age for housebreaking and some formal obedience training, with just enough maturity to make things easier but plenty of puppy left in her to enjoy ;) She has received her spay and is ready to go!
