This is beautiful Sierra. If you have visited our cattery you have been greeted by Sierra. She sits here on her perch by the door waiting for visitors and turns on her charm. She welcomes each person hoping that one day it will be her turn to be picked for adoption. Sierra has watched as other cats get adopted and is always happy for a simple acknowledgement but one day dreams of a home of her own. Sierra is good with other cats. She is clean and always good about using her box. She is 8 years old and in good health. Her personality is outstanding. About Menifee Valley Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 1976, we are an all volunteer animal welfare organization that is dependent on the good will and talents of our friends and volunteers. Our focus is to promote community education on responsible pet care and ownership, which is a lifetime commitment--for the life of the pet. Through education, it is our hope that both children and adults will learn the importance of responsible pet care, including spaying and neutering to help solve the problem of pet overpopulation. Everyone can do their part by taking good care of their pet! Since we have no shelter or facility, any animals we rescue and/or take in are cared for in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested persons complete an application and if adopting an animal, an adoption contract is completed also. Animals are delivered to new home where all family members including other pets must be present in order to complete adoption. This is to ensure that everyone gets along and to help ensure a successful match and adoption. A followup phone call and visit are made to see how the pet is doing in the new home. All animals are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fees vary from $50-$150.
