My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! Meet Markie, a very affectionate, strong and confident young lady who is extremely in tune with her human. She is friendly and sincere, listening to your every word. She bonds quickly and absolutely loves being around people. As you can see from the pictures, she is a very beautiful and unique-looking girl, having most of the physical traits of the wire-haired pointing griffon, but those ears must be from a terrier ancestor! Markie is VERY intelligent and has had some obedience training. We have indicated that she "needs an experienced adopter" because she is so smart. She needs a guardian or family that will keep her active both mentally and physically. She is a wonderful dog, but is not a happy-go-lucky lay-about! She walks well on leash and likes to run and jog. She loves learning new tricks or tasks. She is crate trained and house broken. She plays nicely with most dogs but is not fond of our cats. Markie weighs 56 lbs and is about 3 years old. She is up to date on her shots, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative.
