Cody is a handsome and sweet 3-4 year old, 14 lb., neutered male Chihuahua looking for a loving family to call his own. He is crate trained and will sleep quietly in his crate, but he’s a snuggler who would prefer to sleep under a cover on your bed. He’s a great watch dog and will bark when people approach, but our experience has been that he likes people, including children, and he quickly warms up to new people. He does well with the other big dogs in his foster home, but he sometimes chases the cats and that has earned him a scratched nose. He loves car rides and just being with his people. He is pretty reliably housetrained but prefers walks to do his business. We currently walk him three times per day. He uses our pet doors to the yard like a champ, but without walks, he has had #2 accidents in the house. Cody likes lizard hunting too and will provide hours of entertainment while you watch. Cody is healthy, heartworm negative (on preventative and flea control meds), up to date on vaccinations and is ready to go to his new home.
