Important Note

Harris is best friends with Sol. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Could Harris be more handsome?!? This sweetheart wandered into a trap set for an escaped barn cat, and the property owners didn't even know he was around. He turned out to be a social, wonderfully affectionate cat, so it's a good thing he received a subtle eartip at the time he was neutered.

Harris is currently living in the barn vacated by his predecessor, but he'd love to be an indoors-only, spoiled rotten guy along with his pal, Sol, who joined him in the barn a few weeks later. They two forged an instant bond and cannot be separated.

Harris actively seeks attention and is a ball of purring putty in your hands. He is neutered and current on vaccines. Orange tabbies tend to be the labrador of cats, and Harris and Sol are no exception. Make an appointment to meet these two and see for yourself!

About The American Street Cat, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

NOTE: If you have found or trapped cats, or need to relinquish your own, please contact stationary shelters in your area. We do not handle public intakes.

The American Street Cat, Inc's primary focus is on TNR (trap-neuter-return), but the kittens and friendlies found during the rescue effort cannot be ignored. They are brought indoors, well-cared for in a non-shelter environment, and promoted for adoption upon a clean bill of health.

We are a small, volunteer-based, non-profit organization, with no paid officers or staff. Any donations of time and/or money will be greatly appreciated.

We are committed to minimizing the pet overpopulation problem, thereby minimizing the homelessness of beautiful adoptables such as ours.
