Important Note

Sol is best friends with Harris. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Sol is one of the gentlest and most affable cats we've ever met. Upon rescue form an outdoor colony, Sol immediately befriended a barn cat named Harris, and the two are the best of friends, always lounging together and giving each other baths.

You can't sit down without Sol or Harris jumping in your lap, followed by the other one. They absorb all the attention you're willing to give them, and repay you with kisses and strong purrs.

Sol is neutered, current on vaccines, and negative for FIV/FeLV. Sol is allergic to grasses and pollen. When his eyes get agitated, his ears get infected, so it's an indoors-only life we're seeking for him and Harris. Now that outdoor access has been denied them both, Sol has had no allergic reactions.

Orange tabbies tend to be the labrador of cats, and Harris and Sol are no exception. Make an appointment to meet these two and see for yourself!

About The American Street Cat, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

NOTE: If you have found or trapped cats, or need to relinquish your own, please contact stationary shelters in your area. We do not handle public intakes.

The American Street Cat, Inc's primary focus is on TNR (trap-neuter-return), but the kittens and friendlies found during the rescue effort cannot be ignored. They are brought indoors, well-cared for in a non-shelter environment, and promoted for adoption upon a clean bill of health.

We are a small, volunteer-based, non-profit organization, with no paid officers or staff. Any donations of time and/or money will be greatly appreciated.

We are committed to minimizing the pet overpopulation problem, thereby minimizing the homelessness of beautiful adoptables such as ours.
