FridayCP's Story...
Location: New Cumberland, PA

Approx DOB: July 5, 2005

Friday is hoping to find a loving home since her mom passed away. Friday has lived with cats and gets along with them. She has also lived with dogs at times and there have been no problems there either. Friday likes to play with shadows. She is sweet and loves attention.

Friday is spayed, declawed, and vaccinated. Vet records are available. One of her eyes is cloudy. It seems she can see out of it and there are no medical issues.

Friday’s sister, Glory (black and white), is also looking for a home. They don’t need to be placed together but they do get along.

If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Friday, please contact Christin at 717-877-7372 or

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FridayCP, a Carlisle Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
