PERCY's Story...
What a handsome guy! Percy is a sweet and happy puppy, who loves people and other dogs. He is fairly active, and like most puppies his age, he loves to run and play with his siblings. Since he is a Beagle, he loves to snoop around the yard hunting for rabbits too. All this guy needs now is a fun and active family to call his own. His mother was a full blooded Beagle and his dad was a medium sized Boxer mix. He is the biggest puppy in the litter...bigger in size & bigger boned than the girls. Percy was born 3/19/16 making him 12 weeks old at the time of this posting (6/10/16). He has been neutered, fecal tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $375.

Percy is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and his fee does include transportation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PERCY, a Newburgh Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
