Megan's Story...
CONNOR is the character of the litter. He is very expressive and loves to be in the middle of all the action. Connor is also an active and cuddly purr box that is the first to greet his foster mom at the door and sit at her feet. Connor will certainly get lonely if left alone so another kitty playmate is a must for this inquisitive little boy.

MEGAN may be petite but she is a little Tom Boy. Being raised with 4 brothers she had to be tough to keep up with them but she can also be sensitive, sweet and cuddly little girl to, showing her affection by wrapping her tail around your legs. And when things get a little rough with her brothers, Megan will flop at her foster mom’s feet and play with her favorite toy purring away.

KEEGAN is the Casanova in the litter. He loves to give gentle licks to fingers and toes. But when it’s time to play he is all boy! He loves to climb high places and run circles around his favorite crinkle tube toy. Keegan like his siblings are purr boxes and even while playing you can hear his loud purring and little chirps of excitement.

SHANNON is the more independent kitty in the litter. She likes to study what is going on around her first before jumping in. But once she is ready to play she is all business and she gets very determined to catch her favorite toy no matter what it takes and is one of the best jumpers in her litter. With her quiet personality, Shannon would likely do best in a quieter home.

The kittens were born in March 2016. They have been micro chipped, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and are current on shots for their age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Megan, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
