Hi there, my name is Poutine! I am a handsome boy with bright green eyes and I am all black, except for a little white spot on my chest. I have big goofy ears, just look at my pictures! I was born March 1, 2016. I love to tumble, jump and somersault when I am playing with my toys; some would say I’m an acrobat! I was rescued with my girly friend named Chowder. We love to play and to nap together. Even if there are not any toys around, I love to just roll around and play with my tail. I am a great kitten! My foster mom kept telling me to sit still for my pictures, but the camera was such an intriguing toy! Of course, I use the litterbox like a good boy. I’m hoping to find someone to play with – will you be my forever home? I’m tons of fun! Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. From noon to 4 p.m. on the fourth Sunday each month, come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Event dates for 2016: October 23, November 27 and December 18.
Saturday, November 5: Adoption Event at Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd). From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Adoption event dates for 2016: November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 17.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
