"HAPPY DAYS" THEMED DOG: 3 years old / 81 lbs. Meet me Saturdays at 1 of our 2 Kennesaw locations from 11-4pm. Check for my location at www.mostlymutts.org after 5pm on Fridays. I'm a big, friendly, strong and playful young dog who is also strikingly handsome! I like all the nice volunteers who come to care for me at the Mostly Mutts shelter, but nothing will beat having a family and home of my own. I’d like a dog savvy family who knows how to properly handle large dogs that can be a little head strong. I should not be allowed on the furniture as it makes me feel a bit like I’m in charge. I say, “Nothing in life is free” which just means that I should expect to work to earn privileges and it’s great for me to use my mind in that way. I got to stay in a temporary foster home recently and there were 5 other large dogs that I ran around playing with and it was a blast! So another playful big friend could be great in my new home! I don't think I like small dogs though. I love rolling around on the carpet and moaning/growling with delight. I do very well with my potty habits on the schedule at the shelter and did well in my temporary home too. I'm however, not a fan of my crate so perhaps I won't need one, but we're not sure since I currently live at the shelter. I'll go back in my very large crate for treats, but I'd love it if I didn't have to. I have good leash manners and have learned ‘sit’ and I’m working on ‘shake’. I'm a little mouthy when I play and do jump a bit, so please be prepared to do some training with me as all dogs need training, especially big guys like me. Fortunately, I'm very treat motivated, so that is really helpful. I'm a higher energy type dog, so I just can't wait to be active with my new family! I'm no couch potato for sure but I am a super sweetie! Older dog savvy kids as I’m large and can be bossy. Energy level: 6–8. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.
