Kobe was an owner surrender to Emmy's Hope Rescue. He belonged to an elderly woman who got him as a puppy from a friend. Kobe was well loved and cared for but then the woman became ill and she and Kobe had to move in with her daughter. When the daughter moved into another apartment, it did not not allow pets.
Kobe is a sweet little dog but very shy at first. He likes to be petted and sit close to his favorite human. Since Kobe was an only dog, he spent most of his time with his human and rarely played with other dogs. Kobe is now learning how to interact appropriately with other dogs and cats too.
Estimated birth date: May 2011
Approximate weight: 14 lbs.
